Deposits, Final Payments and Cancellations

Reserving your SRC trip-
We require a deposit at the time the reservation is made. We are happy to hold a reservation without a deposit as tentative for 10days. After 10 days we cannot guarantee availability. We gladly accept Discover, MasterCard and Visa. We also accept cash, check and money orders. For our ½ and 1 day raft trips, a 50% deposit is required to hold the reservation. For our 2 day trips, a $200/person deposit is required. Group discounts are also offered: please call for a quote for your group size.

Final Payment-
Balance on ½ and 1 day raft trip is required prior to your trip. You are welcome to pay when you arrive in our office before your trip. Group reservations over 24 people require final payment 30 days before the day of the trip. We will assign a cutoff date for adding to the number of people in a group reservation (normally 7 days prior to trip). 

2 day trip final payment is due 30 days prior to the date of your trip. If we do not receive payment by this date, we reserve the right to consider your reservation cancelled and your deposit forfeit. We reserve the right to cancel trip if minimum group size is not met prior to trip.

Cancellations-
Because of the planning and scheduling involved, we must strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. If for any reason you have to cancel your trip with us, you may be subject to cancellation fees and /or forfeiture of your deposit. Our trips depart rain or shine.

·         Half and 1-day raft trips require 7 day  written cancellation notice. If we receive such notice, your deposit will be refunded minus 25% of the total cost of your trip. Cancellations made 7 days or less  will result in loss of deposit.

·         2 day cancellations before the final payment date are subject to loss of deposits.  Cancellations after the final payment date may result in loss of deposit and final payment. Substitutions or rescheduling may also be allowed.

Please understand that once you sign up, we lose the ability to sell your reserved space to other parties. We regret that we cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies, for this reason we strongly advise the purchase of trip insurance. Cancellation of your reservation due to water conditions, extreme weather conditions,  insufficient bookings or other conditions beyond our control, we will refund all monies paid to Salmon River Challenge. We will not be held responsible for expenses incurred (travel, motel, etc.) as a result of such cancellations.

We reserve the right to choose launch sites and take-outs, as well as craft type without notice based on availability, river or weather conditions.
